Solar Acre Ltd is working to make solaracre.co.uk easier for everyone to use, including people with disabilities. This statement explains our current improvements, known limitations and how to get help.
What web accessibility is
An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.
Accessibility adjustments on this site
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a guide for improvements. Our checks are ongoing, and we have not established full conformance. Work on the website has included:

Adding useful descriptions to installation photographs.

Improving page headings and the structure of service information.

Making enquiry fields and key links easier to understand.

Checking mobile layouts and correcting clipped button labels.

Testing key navigation and enquiry links with a keyboard.

Using automated checks alongside manual page reviews.
Known limitations
Some review videos do not yet have captions or a full transcript. Our online estimate tool and some embedded booking or shop features also need further accessibility checks. If a video, form or tool is difficult to use, contact us and tell us what information you need. You can discuss your solar project directly with our team without using the online estimator.
Getting help in a way that works for you
If you need information in a different format, or would find a phone conversation easier than using the website, please let us know. Tell us which page, document or part of the service you need help with and your preferred way for us to contact you.
When arranging a survey, you can also tell us about communication or access requirements so we can discuss suitable arrangements with you.
